Gerard J. Kerbleski, DPM FACFAS

    Dr. Kerbleski graduated from The University of Santa Clara with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1983.  He did graduate studies in Immunogenetics as San Diego State University.  In 1984, he attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and obtained his DPM in 1988. Upon graduation Dr. Kerbleski completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the VA Regional Medical Center in Albuquerque.  He is Board Certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.

    Dr. Kerbleski started Podiatry Associates of New Mexico, LTD in 1990.  He has an expertise in foot surgery, diabetic foot care, diabetic and vascular wounds. He is currently a consulting physican with Sandia National Labs and the University of New Mexico.  He serves as secretary for the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association and as President of Division IV of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. 

Janet E. Simon, DPM FACFAS
Carmel Office: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

     After completing a two year surgical residency program in Salt Lake City, Dr. Simon began practicing in Albuquerque in 1991.  Dr. Simon is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and Board of Certified Pedorthists. She is on staff at Presbyterian, Lovelace Sandia Healthcare, Albuquerque Surgery Center and New Mexico Orthopedic Surgery Center.

     Dr. Simon's practice has developed special expertise in foot surgery, diabetic and arthritic foot care, sports medicine, and pedorthics or footwear/orthotic/brace treatments,

     Dr. Simon is past president of the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association and is active with the American Podiatric Medical and Public Health Associations serving on several committees.

Shanti Balkissoon-Castillo, DPM
Carmel Office: Monday through Friday

    Dr. Balkissoon-Castillo completed her degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996.  She completed a surgical residency program in Tucson, Arizona. She is originally from Toronto and worked in Tucson and Denver before relocating to Albuquerque in 2002 to join Podiatry Associates of New Mexico, LTD 
    In Denver, Dr. Balkissoon gained valuable experience working at a large health facility where she was involved in the development of a diabetic ulcer clinic.  She is currently involved with both the University of New Mexico Student Health Clinic and the PACE clinic for elderly patients here in Albuquerque. She is currently on staff at Lovelace Sandia Medical and Presbyterian Hospital.

Roderick D. Farley, DPM FACFAS
Carmel Office: Tuesday-Thursday

Dr. Farley did his undergraduate studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He completed his medical studies at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.  Dr. Farley completed  his two year Surgical Residency program at Lincoln Community Hospital in Buena Park, California.  He is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  He is a Diplomat of the National Academies of Practice in Podiatric Medicine.  Dr. Farley is married with four children, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He is delighted that he can work and live in the "Land of Enchantment".
